Sleeper Agent escapes.

February 15, 2024 - 11:05 -- Admin

I get a lot of pleasure from sending out free stuff, but occasionally, I like to put another layer of gold plating on the ol’ hovercraft, so I release an actual book. Today is one of those days.

Sleeper Agent has escaped from Audible Exclusive jail, and this time, I decided I wouldn’t put it straight into Amazon Exclusive jail, so I’m just letting this sucker run free. It’s everywhere. Paperback, too, in the next few days.

If you’d like to grab a copy and keep my hovercraft gold plate guy in a job, here’s a universal link. Through some creepy cyber-surveillance magic, it’ll just give you the options nearest to your corner of the internet.

That link again.

And there is, of course, a tasty little discount for the launch because you’re my favourites. Those bastards who didn’t join my book club are gonna get gouged in a week or two when I jack the price up.

What’s Sleeper Agent about?

It’s my tilt at an old legend – The Return of the Hero. You’ve seen or read this particular story many times before. The Bourne Identity. The Long Kiss Goodnight. Bob Odenkirk’s film Nobody. Even in Joe Abercrombie’s grimdark fantasy Red Country.

They’re all the same story, because there are only six or seven stories in the whole world.

Sleeper Agent is how I tell this one.

If you get it, I hope you enjoy it. (Seriously. I’m halfway through writing another one, so I’ll be wasting my time if you don’t.)

And for anyone who’s bummed that they can’t get it free right now on Kindle Unlimited – gimme a few weeks. I will move it there eventually once everyone else has had a chance to grab it from their preferred bookstore.

I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with some free stuff.

Cheers
