Articles from THE BLOT REPORT
I wrote a few articles about the effective takeover by the religious of the Liberal Party branches in Victoria1,2, Western Australia2,3, Queensland2 and federally4, and how this will eventually lead to their demise as Australia and the world becomes less religious.
Astroturfing is the attempt to create an impression of widespread grassroots support for a policy, individual, or product, where such support is not common. This is often manifest online and can take the form of multiple identities and, occasionally, fake pressure groups or organisations. These are used to mislead the public into believing that the position of the astroturfer is the commonly held view1.
James Massola is a journalist for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age and stated on Twitter:
“I got some over-the-top, partisan responses after tweeting a bit of Josh Frydenberg’s speech yesterday. This one – comparing the Liberals to the Nazis – is the worst. I am genuinely shocked at what a cesspool #auspol has become. When did we lose the capacity to politely disagree?”1
In early January, 2021, I ranted about the lie Morrison told us “Australians will be among the first in the world to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, if it proves successful.” At that time, everyone knew it was equine ordure, because over 40 countries had already started vaccinating their population with either the Russian Sputnik V, the German BioNtech/Pfizer or the Chinese Sinovac vaccines. Most of these vaccination programs had started some time in December 20201.
