Don't let high oil prices encourage you to reduce your petrol consumption!

There are two possibilities regarding the oil on which our economy myopically depends.

  1. Its supplies are magically infinite and will last forever.
  2. It's going to run out - sooner or later.

Since oil prices around the world are skyrocketing, it's fairly clear that the markets, at least, are convinced we're looking at option number two. (Which is sad, because many of us are banking on the pixie dust infinite supply notion behind the unlikely alternative.) Read more »
