Elmer Fudd and truncheon pulling

Paul 'Elmer Fudd' Omodei is still fighting. He now has no shadow cabinet position and no seat yet he still wants to be around.

Now he is launching an audacious bid to stay in Parliament. He may challenge The Sniff for the leadership.

If somehow he pulls it off, the Libs will have to find Elmer a safe seat. Given that the number of seats in Paul's South West Region have been drastically reduced, it will be hard finding one.

The President’s Column is a wholehearted rejection of the national registration plan from COAG (Council of Australian Governments). Many pages of this volume have a black band on the top, giving the issue a memorial look.

I am underwhelmed yet not surprised.

The WA Budget was largely predictable and left a lot to be desired. Basically a big stamp duty cut, a footy field and a bail out. No funding to fix up PMH and no obvious funding for a pay rise for teachers.
