Just when you thought the government’s mind-blowingly
ridiculous reaction to the Labor Party’s electric vehicle plan1,2 couldn’t get any worse, Senator Michaelia Cash
has momentarily stepped out from behind her whiteboard to add to the idiocy. She
was reported as saying: “50 per cent of
these apprentices will be driving an electric vehicle under Bill Shorten … we
are going to stand by our tradies and we are going to save their utes”3.
The galloping
stupidity of the Liberal Party has been highlighted by the ludicrous response
to the Labor Party’s plan to encourage the uptake of electric vehicles. Let’s
go back to the start, some time before the Labor Party suggested it had such a
plan. In January, 2018, Josh Frydenberg listed a few technological advances
which have appeared in the last few years and stated that “there is another

You have to feel sorry
for the Kenny family, having to put up with the idiocy of Chris. He is a
Murdoch hack in the worst sense of the word, and that is saying plenty. His
lies are almost continuous, and he will do anything to try to prop up the
Coalition parties, especially the far right of that party, and lies are mostly
what the Liberal far right have left.
