meanwhile back in England some insignificant people meet

DogfightAtBankstown - July 18, 2008 - 5:05am

Lambeth is underway, complete with a big blue circus tent (couldn't be more approrpriate), spin doctors for the swooning crowd, and a big fence to keep the nasties out.

Ah well Ruth, as they say: scratch a liberal, find a fascist.

The uninvited Gene of course is not there. Not really.
Gene, I-just-want-to-be-a-country-bishop Robinson, the gay American Episcopalian  who's never in his diocese, and never talks about  anything but himself and his unsubstantiated, unconfirmed death threats - the man who said he is not responsible for Anglican unity but has now been (self-)promoted to single-handedly holding it all together - oh brave Gene.

Why doesn't someone hand him and Ian McKellen a Koran so we can see how much steel there is in their balls?

Probably none in Gene's case if you read his post about the heckler that apparently had Gene wetting his pants (what is this obsession with assassination amongst lefties?) View the video, the bloke didn't even swear, the parishioners weren't too perturbed, the vicar had a preprepared response, down to which hymn they were going to sing in the event of a disturbacne,  and Ruth just thought he was a bit of a looker

Gene was only trembling with delight from smelling another PR opportunity.

(Koran Gene, Koran. That would get mega attention, wouldn't it?)

Gene should rather be careful of others who want to set up their own straw men and web of lies to claim status of chief victim.  I can't think of what is funnier about this: John Chane part of the prosecution in the litigation against Episcopalians in the U.S. claiming to be a victim? John Chane who doesn't believe in God, now claiming to believe in demons? John Chane would even tell Jesus to shut up for claiming to be the Way, the Truth and the Life?

Yes the Anglican Communion is a circus.

Even the Archbishop of Canterbury continues to make a clown of himself.
